It is very widely used in hydrology and there are many packages of added functions developed by and for hydrologists.<\/p>\n<p>One of these is the CSHShydRology package, which is being developed by members of CSHS\/CWRA. The package is available at github.com\/CSHS-CWRA\/CSHShydRology<\/p>\n<p>To use the package and to contribute to its development, it is useful to understand how to use the program Git and the online service GitHub.
