CSHS/QC Workshop: Process-based approaches to stream temperature modelling
This workshop aims to bring together a diverse group of researchers and practitioners working with process-based approaches to stream temperature modelling, including model developers, model users or users of knowledge derived from models.
The primary objective of the workshop is to facilitate discussions on emerging challenges, recent advances, and future directions in the field. Unlike more traditional conferences focused on individual presentations, this workshop is centered around active participation, plenary discussions and problem solving around shared issues. The end goal of the workshop is to produce a co-authored paper that summarizes the key themes and insights that arise from exchanges, helping define a research agenda for the following years.
Over the two days of the workshop, participants will engage in structured sessions focused on three core themes:
- Heat exchange processes and model parameterization
- Shared problems in model implementation
- Emerging challenges and opportunities
